THE MEMBERS OF NOTA CELEBRATED THE RELEASE OF THE ALBUM
“NOTA” WITH AN IN-STORE PRESENTATION AT THE
PLAZA LAS AMÉRICAS SHOPPING CENTER

Miami, FL (November 1, 2010) – Few recent music acts have created such a buzz as the members of Nota have. And on November 2, this new musical sensation will be releasing their much-awaited self-titled debut album.

Puerto Rican vocalists and musicians Johnny Figueroa (bass), Juan Elí Díaz (percussion), David Pinto (first tenor), Edgar Ríos (tenor, horns), Ludwig Henderson (tenor, percussion) and José Ángel Rodríguez (baritone, horns), offer in Nota a unique musical experience, in which they cover favorite songs of audiences in both English and in Spanish, as well as featuring brand new material of their own.

Nota’s stellar rise took them to Chicago, to open for Colombian superstar Shakira’s Sale el Sol concert in that city on October 29. The band also performed to great acclaim in cities such as Miami, Orlando, Dallas, San Antonio, Hidalgo, Corpus Christi and El Paso as part of the star’s tour.

On October 30, the members of the band celebrated the release of the album in their native Puerto Rico with an in-store presentation at the Plaza Las Américas shopping center.

And, as if that weren’t enough, Nota is scheduled to perform during the new and second season of the popular reality NBC TV show produced by Sony Pictures, The Sing-Off, from which the band was discovered and catapulted to fame last December.
